Content Publisher| Content Management

File Upload enables you to add new content.

To add new content:

  1. Click Upload Content.
  2. Enter the Title.
  3. Select the Repository Type:
    • Educational Games / Films / Audio / Images / Interactive Books / Textbooks / Interactive Activities & Educational Kits / Virtual Labs & Laboratories / 3D Learning Objects / Presentations / Educational Resources / Archiving / Teacher Guides for Textbooks.

  1. Select the Grade Levels. The Subject field will appear along with the Units Tree. Choose the lesson so the Outcomes list appears, then select the outcomes related to the lesson and the uploaded content.

  1. Upload the file, ensuring it matches the required file extensions shown below the upload field.

  1. Enter keywords for the uploaded content. Note that the system accepts only one word in this field; multiple words can be added by separating them with an underscore (_).

  1. The version number appears by default as 1.

  1. Choose the Content Classification:

  1. Public: published automatically to the student account.

  1. Private: published to the teacher’s account only, and can later be published to students

  1. Click Save to archive the content and publish it later, or click Publish to publish it immediately.

Content List #

Enables you to view all content.

Approved content by reviewers appears in green.
Columns include: content status, title, content type, repository, content creator name, subject, grade, date, version, and Actions. From Actions, you can edit, delete, or view content.

You can:

  • Set the number of rows from the Rows button.
  • Export the list using the Export button.
  • Customize columns and change their order using the Customize Columns button.
  • Search for content by entering the title, selecting the repository type and grade, then clicking Search.

By clicking the View icon in the Actions column, the Content Screen appears, where the content is displayed and comments can be added. From this screen, you can:

  • Publish the content,
  • Archive it to publish later, or
  • Reject and return for editing to send it back to the creator for modification.

Published Content List #

Contains content that has already been published to the digital repository.

Columns show the content status (displayed in blue, indicating the content is published), title, content type, repository type, content creator name, subject, grade, date, version, and Actions. From Actions, you can delete, view, or copy content data. By clicking the arrow, you can archive the content.

You can also set rows, export, customize columns, reorder them, and search by title, repository type, and grade.


Archived Content List #

Contains content that has been archived and requires review and publishing.

Columns include: content status, title, content type, repository, content creator name, subject, grade, date, version, and Actions. From Actions, you can edit, delete, or view content, and by clicking the arrow, you can restore archived content and publish it.

You can set the number of rows, export the list, customize and reorder columns, and search by title, repository type, and grade.
