Course Preparations

Adding preparation plans helps you as a teacher organize your lectures and run your classes smoothly, which will positively affect your students’ understanding and, in turn, their outcomes.

Preparation Addition:

  • From the main page, go to the Subjects tab and choose Lesson Preparation.
  • Click on the “Add Preparation” button to add a preparation

By selecting the book, then the chapter, then the unit, and finally choosing the lesson to be prepared, as shown in the attached image.

Learning Outcomes:

  • If there is another objective, enter it in the Add another objective field.
  • Then link the preparation to one of the educational levels (Knowledge – Application – Analysis
  • Select the available strategies for this preparation.
  • Choose the educational resources used in learning.
  • Identify the concepts associated with this preparation.

  

  • Define the learning prerequisites (Orientation / Introduction / Prior Learning): the minimum tools and educational requirements that students must possess before starting the learning process for a specific subject or course.
  • Specify the lesson activities and instructional procedures associated with this preparation.
  • Document the formative and summative assessments for the lesson preparation.
  • Add your notes to the weekly lesson plan (these notes will be visible to students and parents).
  • Specify whether you want to publish the lesson preparation to students in the weekly study plan or the term plan, or allow teachers to copy and use your preparation.
  • Add the publication date for the subject preparation, and select the checkbox next to the subjects and grades to which this preparation will be published.
  • Click “Save” to save the changes.

To copy the lesson preparation:

  • By clicking the Copy Preparation button, the system allows you to copy a previous lesson preparation.

  • The following screen will appear to let you select the school, class, and subject.

  • After clicking the Search button, the available lesson preparations will be displayed.

You can copy the selected lesson preparations.

Preparation Percentage:
It shows the percentage of coverage of the educational outcomes for the lessons.
